Archaean is one of the ancient stages of Earth's development. an era that lasted about 1.5 billion years and formed the unique landscapes of our planet. It was a time of volcanoes, primordial oceans, and the first life forms.
Waveforms of Archean are landscapes. The moon observes approaching objects. The meteorite makes noise. Weathering erodes sound. The Element shifts forms. Each mineral is a touch-sensitive key.

Archean Open-Source Project & Pre-Order Information
Archean is now available as a fully assembled synthesizer. However, we are committed to making this project open-source - both in terms of circuit design and software. We are currently working on DIY kits, which will include PCBs, components, and Teensy 4.0, allowing you to build your own Archean. These kits are expected to be ready by early May.To begin production, we need funding. If you’d like to support this project, please consider placing a pre-order for a DIY kit. Your pre-order will directly contribute to manufacturing costs and help bring this open-source version to life. For now, only the fully assembled Archean is available for purchase. But by pre-ordering a kit today, you’ll be among the first to receive one when shipping begins in May.
